Soft stone usually refers to the stones with Moh’s hardness below 5. Such as limestone, marble, dolomite, talcum, lignite, malachite, bentonite, graphite, gypsum, barite, etc. The most common soft stone is limestone, so here take it for example.

Limestone is mainly used for the building construction, roadbeds and landscape construction. And it is widely used in cement production for the construction of architecture and landmarks around the world.

The classic soft stone crushing process:
Passing through a hopper, raw limestone materials are fed by vibrating feeder into the jaw crusher evenly and gradually for primary crushing. After primary crushing, the material will be transferred by belt conveyor to impact crusher for secondary crushing.

The crushed limestone materials will then be transferred to vibrating screen for separation. After separation, products in required size will be retained as final products, while the unqualified size will be returned to the previous impact crusher for recushing until all the material can satisfy the customers’ requirement of sizes.

In this way, the whole line completes a closed circuit crushing process. We can separate different sizes according to your requirement by vibrating screen with several layers.
